Devon bull “Sabo Abel”
Sabo Abel at 5 years old, the end of breeding season
“Sabo Abel”, born spring 2004, our current herd bull. Abel is an “embryo transplant” calf, born in western Montana. Parentage-dam: Harrier Field Farms 414, sire: Rotokawa 688.
Abel has 100% breed-back within our 45 day breeding season (three years running), and we are very pleased at how he has added depth, meat, and easy fleshing onto our Devon/Red Angus calves.
